The Great National Day Rally Drinking Game 2014

National Day Rally is boring only if you are invited to watch it live.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will deliver his 11th National Day Rally (NDR) address tonight, at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College Central.

Although this rally is where PM will set new directions and test out new ideas, his long heavy-on-policy speech is a tad difficult for many Singaporeans to pay full attention.

Hence, we have invented a drinking game guide to keep you going during the two-hour speech marathon.

Here are the rules:

Get your Tiger beer ready.

You must drink if the following incident occurs.

1. If PM Lee waves before he speak today, one drink.

If PM Lee says the following:

2. "CPF, minimum sum", two drinks.

3. "Pioneer Generation", one drink.

4. "Education", one drink.

5. "Economy and Economic growth", one drink

6. If there's a shot of audience napping, one drink.

7. If there's a shot of audience clapping, two drinks.

8. If there's a shot of an ordinary Singaporean who did extraordinary things, you yam seng (three drinks).

9. If PM uses photos of Singapore skyline and architecture, one drink.

10. Finally, if PM wears pink tonight, you ta five drinks. Or BTBLP in Hokkien.
