This S’porean fashion illustrator can salvage our Miss Singapore Universe national costume

Okay people, you all need to check this out because this is a Singaporean who should be given a shot at designing the Miss Singapore Universe national costume this time round for everyone’s sake.

Here are some dress designs done by a Singaporean fashion illustrator, Grace Ciao.

And they are biblically, insanely well put together using just flowers:

 

 

 

And using our national flower, the orchid!

 

And it is not just her attention to detail that makes her flower dresses work.

There is something very fractal about her designs which uses natural proportion that is very pleasing to the eye.

One look and you intuitively know that they are flowers, albeit smaller, self-similar petals that have been deconstructed.
