The LionsXII returned to Malaysia Super League last night (March 8) to face Kelantan FA on a sombre note, after a three-week break.

Before the start of the match, players from both teams and the 7,000-plus fans in attendance observed a minute of silence at the Jalan Besar Stadium for Malaysia Airlines MH370 plane, half a day after news broke that the aircraft carrying 239 passengers couldn't be located.

The LionsXII eventually lost the match, 1-2, after leading in the first half.

Kelantan FC scored two goals in the second half, the second goal at the heartbreaking 90th minute.
