The terror of war can never be replicated on film, unless it's footage of the real thing.

World War Two videos are usually black-and-white which gives it a certain distance between the viewer and the event itself. Colour footage, however, brings the terror and reality of war closer to home.

At around 7:09 in this video, it would probably be the first time you'll see a Japanese Kamikaze plane crashing into an Allied warship.
