Every year when the Miss Universe pageant comes to town, it is a ritual to spend some time bringing the Singaporean contestant down.
Earlier this year, contestants taking part to be crowned Miss Singapore had already been ceremoniously trolled online.
So, what's left is to boo-boo the national costume to be worn by this year's winner, Shi Lim, to the 62nd Miss Universe pageant in Moscow on Nov. 9.
For this year's costume designed by Riyan Haffys -- who also designed 2007 and 2008 costumes -- naysayers have panned it for looking like a peacock as it is too colourful, and there are those who felt that it was too plain and could be embellished more.
Based on such comments, it is as clear as day that everyone only knows what a costume shouldn't look like -- not what it should be.
Anyways, what better time than now to hop on the bandwagon and diss commiserate all the past national costumes worn each year by the contestants.
We have found the yearly national costumes all the way back to 2000, which is as far as Google allows.
Enjoy!
