7 moments of GE2015 that made us go HAHAHAHA what the?

What's an election without some laughs?

The General Election (GE) is serious business. But there will always be moments where things take a turn for the funny.

Here are seven you won't forget for a long, long time. Well, for the next five years at least.

1. The most meme-ed opposition speech of GE2015

" width="760" height="428" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

At first, many people went 'Huh? Wth?'. On careful viewing, his speech is quite like Inception. Confusing, convoluted, and filled with blaring sound effects - it will make most people leave thinking "Wtf did I just hear/watch?". But it is only after repeated viewings that you are able to understand the rich meaning behind what was presented.

NSP's Choong Hon Heng probably had a very good point to make with his handshake and three fingers analogy. Perhaps under the bright rally lights and high emotions, he messed the delivery up.

But he went through with it in the end. Thumbs up, man!

Here's a remix from FallenSuperheroSg that should be played in the clubs:

2. The un-un-un-undying spirit of this reporter

We have nothing but respect for the reporters covering GE2015. It was a grueling month in the lead up to Polling Day and many were operating on pitiful amounts of sleep and rest.

We commend Channel NewsAsia's Valarie Tan for her resilience and undying determination to carry on with her report. This despite the fact she was probably on her feet from 8 p.m till 3 a.m reporting on the SDP during Polling Day.

Transcript of what she said, "And when asked further, what were the factors that could have, that what would what could've they done could have that they them do differently this time round."

3. Han Hui Hui getting heckled at her own rally

I guess if you led a procession of people shouting "Return Our CPF" through someone else's event, you shouldn't be surprised if people interrupted your own rally.

4. The over-enthu fist-pumping Chee Hong Tat

He must have been psyched and pumped to be running for elections. But a little over-enthu. Must maintain ok?

Check out the funny as heck video done by SGAG counting how many times Chee pumped his fist:

PAP was nominated for Rave party challenge last afternoon... And this was how they performed! I must say, that dude on the left is definitely the MVP MAN!!!!

We also did an article on how Chee was so enthu, he snatched the mic away from his fellow candidate Chong Kee Hiong.

5. M Ravi plugging for the PA ... Reform Party

M Ravi is a guy with heart. Just look at that smile on his face and how he recovered after he almost blurted out 'PAP' instead of the Reform Party.

He even subtly poked fun at his own mistake in a rally speech.

6. The pattern more than badminton speech

Minister of State Sim Ann tries her very best to sound heartlander using Singlish and Hokkien together with her newscaster-level Mandarin.

That head-swaying though.

7. Kenneth Jeyaratnam's epic interview filled with quotable quotes

He was being interviewed by CNA's Hoe Yeen Nie on the results of the sample votes, which showed the PAP winning by large margins across the board.

These were some of the gems he dropped:

"We had the better manifesto."

"All this is, is a mandate for authoritarianism and brainwashing."

"All I see is similar margins in North Korea and China."

"Singaporeans get the Government they deserve, so I don't want to hear any more complaints."

" width="760" height="428" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen">

But the funniest thing is, when the question was posed to him, he took the mic in his hand, you could see the reporter - Hoe Yeen Nie - trying to tug it away gently, but he gripped the mic tightly, along with her hand as well.

Yup, it was two whole minutes of awkward hand-to-hand contact.

We feel you, sis. Or rather, KJ did.

8. Chee Hsien Khiang

Our favourite politician of GE2015 has got to be CHK from the Singapore Democratic Solidarity People's Action's Alliance for Reform of Singapore (SDSPAARS). The democratic is silent, almost non-existent.
