These 2 first-timer PAP Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC candidates were fighting over a mic in public

This is what you missed at the Raffles Institution nomination centre.

On Nomination Day, Ng Eng Hen, the anchor Minister for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, addressed the jeering from opposition supporters head on and gave the most boss comment so far (“Year by year we will improve your lives, even if you jeer against us, we will improve your lives").

But check out the gif below, which also occured at Raffles Institution nomination centre: Standing on the left is Chee Hong Tat and beside him is Chong Kee Hiong. Both men were fighting over the mic.

Chee Hong Tat, 41, is the former Second Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Chong Kee Hiong, 49, is Chief Executive Officer, OUE Hospitality Trust.
