Check out this ND video, you won't believe what happens at the end of it

Foreign Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam has outdone himself in video production quality this time.

This heart-warming three-minute National Day video shared last night (August 7) begins with a recurring dialogue between a boy, Keller, and his father, as the cute boy asked his daddy for permission to pursue his aspirations when he grows up. It has garnered some 35,000 views.

The same theme of questions pervade much of the video, until you realise what you have missed.

has progressed significantly. We want to keep it that way, and provide every Singaporean the opportunities to achieve their goals.Keller, the boy in the video, asked about this. I'm certain he will achieve his dreams if he gives it his best in Singapore. Happy National Day and #SG50!#mysingapore #oursingapore

The video consists of a few The Sixth Sense-esque twists that director M. Night Shyamalan will be proud of.

For young Keller is "standing on the shoulders of giants" as he posed these questions to his dad.

Dipna Lim Prasad, SEA Games Medalist, was beside Keller when he asked his daddy whether he could "run really really fast" and win his dad.

Local band The Sam Willows was beside Keller when he asked his dad whether he could make everybody happy when he grows up.

Lawyer and potential PAP candidate Josephus Tan, who was recently featured on Mothership.sg, was looking at Keller when he asked his dad whether he can be "really smart" when he grows up.

And the twist ending - can Keller take care of Singapore when he grows up?

Yes, he can be the man who is reading a censored version of The Straits Times Foreign Affairs and Law Minister K Shanmugam when he grows up.
