For some inexplicable reason, Pink Dot ambassador Munah cannot show up at Pink Dot 2015

It's just gonna be Hirzi.

Munah, the female half of the popular duo Munah and Hirzi, announced on her Instagram yesterday that she will not be attending Pink Dot 2015 held at Hong Lim Park on June 13, 2015.

The past few weeks has really taught me that strength not only comes from support, but also challenges. Unfortunately, I cannot be there tomorrow at Pink Dot, but I promise you I will be there in spirit. I would've wanted nothing more than to be there to see all of you, but I know Hirzi will be there standing so strong & courageous for the both of us. 💜 (so scream ok!) But I am here, prouder than ever to say that I'm standing up for the freedom to be happy with what's been given and the right to be accepted as you are. Not one person is the same and that shouldn't even be an issue. I believe so much in what we're doing and I want those who are too afraid, to know that there is support for them, no matter who they are and what they go through. There is always someone to turn to. So keep believing in the good. The hard times we go through only make us stronger. This stand is about more than the freedom to love, this is the freedom to live happy, without judgement from another. Tomorrow, 5pm, Hong Lim Park. Open your hearts, to show support for your loved ones. They need it from you the most. I love you guys with all my heart and soul. Please save some hugs and kisses for me! 💗 #pinkdotsg

No reasons were given for her no-show, which is strange, as the duo has been vocal in supporting the Pink Dot cause since they were announced more than a month ago in early May.

Was she pressured? Was it a personal decision? Why the last-minute pull-out?

We will update this story as it develops.
