The daughter of a taxi driver who was recorded on video being verbally abused by a passenger, was on radio for an interview with Class 95FM deejays Justin Ang and Vernon A on their Muttons in the Morning show on March 16, 2015.

Identified as Clare on-air, she was invited to the show to give her views about the abuse her father suffered and what motivated her to share the recording which was widely circulated on social media over the weekend.

Perhaps still rattled by what happened, Clare dropped the F-bomb live on air.

She could clearly be heard saying "f*cking" at the 3 mins 04 secs mark.

Here is a transcript:

At 2 mins 48 secs:

Clare: "He has a difficult life, you know, as a cab driver. It's really long hours, people don't appreciate how difficult the job is. Because if you just imagine driving 14 hours a day, every single day and you're supposed to be on the ball throughout the day when someone wants to go to any f*cking... effing location..."

Muttons: "Mmm hmmm"

Clare: "And you're supposed to immediately on the spot be able to figure out the best route, the fastest route and get them there safe and quick, that's quite tough and people could be a bit more appreciative, I guess."

Motivation for making video public

In the 10-minute on-air interview, Clare said she had uploaded the video to help people understand the problems that taxi drivers face daily.

She also revealed that the passenger only stopped his abuse when he was shown the camera that had a audio recording function.

Here's what she said at the 4 mins 13 secs:

Clare: "I guess now that I'm quite calm, I guess it's fine people have bad days, maybe he was really having a really bad day. But at the end of the day no matter how bad your day is, don't take it out on someone else. Just be careful how you act in public. Things come out."

And at the 8 mins 44 secs mark, Clare called the passenger an "asshole".

Nice going.
