To make it exceedingly clear that the Land Transport Authority (LTA) will fine you, illegal parking zones with sign boards and lamp posts or sign posts within the zones painted with a vertical bright orange strip have been clearly demarcated.

For example:

LTA announced in a press release today (Sept. 17, 2014) that from Sept. 22, 2014, 10 more locations will be monitored by closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, bringing the total number of such locations to 30.

The 10 new CCTVs will be located at:

Beach Road (at Golden Mile Food Centre)

River Valley Road (in front of Spize, Boon Tong Kee)

Tanjong Katong Road (near Parkstone Road)

Woodlands Ave 7 (Admiralty MRT)

North Bridge Road (opp and along Bugis Junction)

Jalan Besar (Eminent Plaza)

Punggol Road (junction of Pungol Central)

Sembawang Road (Jalan Lengkok Sembawang)

Serangoon Road (Tekka Centre)

Upper Serangoon Road (junction of Simon Road & Florence Road)
