Since Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong started his Facebook and Twitter account in April 2012, he has taken to social media like a how a three-legged puppy with tenacity and zeal takes to water.

His photography skills have been improving over the years, slowly but surely.

Compare those photos with the latest three photos he took during his week-long work trip to Washington DC and New York.

In fact, his recent photo of New York City was so good that even CPF blogger Roy Ngerng praised him.

During his US work trip, PM Lee met with United States President Barack Obama, Vice-President Joe Biden and National Security Advisor Susan Rice. PM Lee also delivered a speech to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the US-Singapore free trade agreement. In New York, he opened Temasek Holdings' first new office in the city.

In case you were a hermit the past month, Ngerng is the 33-year-old blogger who is being sued by PM Lee for defamation after he alleged that PM Lee had misappropriated Central Provident Fund savings.
