8 people who suddenly become political advisers after Lee Hsien Loong sued CPF blogger

PM Lee and Roy Ngerng have no lack of counsel.

So, after Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong sued Roy Ngerng for defamation, suddenly, there is a deluge of political advisers in Singapore overnight.

But discussing why PM is suing Ngerng for his defamatory statements is not sexy anymore.

No one really believes Ngerng's assertions that PM is ”misappropriating” CPF funds, as Ngerng has apologised, meaning that even he didn't believe in his own assertions.

But with PM keeping silent about the issue, people now imagine themselves as PM, his political advisers, or public relations experts.

They spend time writing missives online, with no lack of commentary on what the strategic next moves should be: Why the prime minister really shouldn't sue and what the one getting sued should do. Who is winning the public perception campaign and who is losing.
