In case you've not logged onto social media for the past week, the world's abuzz with the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. It's been over a week now and we are no where near discovering where the plane is.
Malaysia's Prime Minister Najib Razak released a statement earlier noting that they now believe that the plane may have been hijacked and flown towards the middle east.
Amid all the grieve, confusion and frustration surrounding the disappearance, one man, Ibrahim Mat Zin, a self-proclaimed bomoh (shaman), stepped forward to attempt to locate the plane. This was his effort which has since enthralled and baffled the world:

The Internet did not know how to respond at first. Perhaps they had no inkling of the culture in Malaysia and did not want to offend - until the social media sphere in Malaysia itself came out to tell the world how ridiculous this was.
