Random Caucasian guy gets investigated by police because someone thinks he is the Caucasian errant cyclist

Some people really shouldn't be Sherlock Holmes.

Sandy Snakenberg, a 53-year-old sports trainer (pictured above) who has been residing in Singapore for 14 years, was put under investigation after someone called the police alleging he is the errant cyclist the Traffic Police are looking for.

The Traffic Police had put up a Facebook post on Feb. 26, 2014, looking for a cyclist in yellow jersey who was seen on video demanding the right of way even though this isn't Singapore in 1819 anymore:

Snakenberg has maintained that he is definitely not the errant cyclist because his skin tone is tanner, he uses a different bike and he has a camera mounted on his helmet.

But if we used Google to snoop around to find out as to how such a case of mistaken identity could have taken place to begin with, it wouldn't be hard to see why some people think they are Sherlock Holmes.

Bicycle? Check.

Yellow jersey? Check.

Caucasian? Check.

We got our man.
