This Go-Ahead bus hanging out at Loyang Bus Depot is damn sexy

It looks like it is wearing an asymmetrical dress.

Update, March 8, 2016, 12.40pm: According to bus-loving group (buses[IN]gapore!), this bus is the New Bus for London and is in Singapore for display and promotional purposes. However, you can personally tell Go-Ahead Singapore you would really love to see this plying our roads here too.

In December 2015, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced that UK transport operator Go-Ahead Group will take over Loyang Bus Depot located off Loyang Avenue.

Go-Ahead has said it has plans to operate in the east side of Singapore, covering areas in Pasir Ris, Punggol, Tampines, Bedok, and Sengkang.

It will ply 25 bus routes -- several existing and a few new ones -- from September 2016 after they won a five-year contract. It has said it will need 900 employees.

The company is the second UK transport operator to have won a bus package contract here, after London-based Tower Transit.

This is how the Go-Ahead bus looks like: If it turns you on, you are a petrosexual.

The Loyang Bus Depot, built using public money, is leased to the Go-Ahead Group under the bus contracting model.

This move is to facilitate greater competition in the public bus industry by lowering barriers to entry for new operators via the provision of bus depots and other assets.
