Ah, teachers – important figures in our children’s lives but sadly, easy targets for know-it-all parents and pesky peers who love to put educators down.
Not like our teachers have an easy life: they have to push students to greater heights and basically parent them while writing that darned consent form.

And yet, they have to tolerate such put-downs so frequently, even the maths teacher has lost count.
Thankfully, because of their profession, their comebacks can be quite epic.
1. You deal with immature people daily
2. I also can teach, because my results were awesome
3. Those who can’t do, teach
4. I’m a taxpayer. I pay for your salary so you should listen to me
5. I should be a teacher too, since I have two kids and I’m such a great parent
6. You didn’t know what else to do, so you became a teacher
7. Just follow the textbook, all the information is out there, how hard can it be?
