The Straits Times reported that in a Bloomberg Television interview on Feb. 12, Singtel Chief Executive Officer Chua Sock Koong said that a new telco entrant may use lower prices to attract customers as its network reach is not as wide as incumbent telcos.
She added that this driving down of prices will not be good for the industry. She shared that the telco industry requires significant capital investment on an ongoing basis.
