Voices For Animals, a volunteer-run group that rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes retired breeding dogs, is having its adoption drive this coming Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, from 1pm to 5pm.

Here's a preview of the dogs waiting to be re-homed (They are gathered in one small area because the rest of the areas are being cleaned):

The event is happening at Mutts & Mittens open field, at 11 Pasir Ris Farmway 2.

The dogs being re-homed are all retired breeding dogs that are typically above five years old.

According to VFA's About Us page, the group is very stringent in their assessment of potential adopters and strict criteria must be met, even though the goal is to encourage the public to go for the dog adoption option as it curbs impulse buying.

For those who are keen, you are advised to pop by this weekend as VFA has indicated that viewing and adoption of dogs are only available on adoption drive days and they do not entertain random visits.
