Singaporeans who appreciate clean air for 11 months a year can now show their love for Indonesia and their vice-president Jusuf Kalla.

A website with a thank you button has been set up to thank the 73-year-old who said last Friday, Sept. 25, that Indonesia need not apologise to neighbouring countries over the haze and that it needed only to ensure that the forest fires do not recur.

His comments were similar in nature to the ones he made in previous years, which are targeted at countries complaining about the haze:

“For 11 months, they (our neighbours) enjoyed nice air from Indonesia and they never thanked us. They have suffered because of the haze for one month and they get upset.”

For the thank you website, where one press = one thank you, you can also leave a message of appreciation.
