Video shows Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park otters successfully integrating, mingling with S'poreans

It is all about trying.

The family of five otters -- consisting of two parents and three children -- that have made Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park their home since they were first reported to have taken up residence there in April 2015, have officially successfully integrated into Singapore society.

This following video shows the otters playfully wiggling on the ground posing for a photo shoot and even interacting with an elderly man taking close-up photos of them as they romped around.

Towards the end of the one-minute video, you can even hear the man exclaim in Hokkien to another man presumably holding the camera: "Look at them, they just want to play."

To which the guy off-camera said: "They look like they were just released from the zoo."

Which isn't necessarily correct, since these otters are believed to have migrated here from Malaysia.
