If something is too good to be true, it usually is.
This post – littered with one too many grammar errors and the Manpower Ministry logo – was circulating on the Interwebz, announcing that today (Sep. 25) is a "Voluntary Non-Work day".
Paid day off? Half day for the civil service? Sorry to burst your bubble but the real Ministry of Manpower has come out and debunked this falsehood.
Besides, we hope no self-respecting civil servants would let such an ungrammatically-worded message go out to the masses.

The ministry also issued this statement yesterday during the joint press conference with NEA, PA and MOE.
Nice try with that "Voluntary Non-Work day" though.
