Have you read all the tributes that read like eulogies without the flowers that have poured in for outgoing Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew since he announced his retirement on Aug. 11, 2015?

Forget those because they might be tainted with political intent.

Because the following tribute, by people who are obsessed about public transport, is the only one that matters.

Paying tribute to Lui is SGTrains, a Facebook group filled with self-declared "transport enthusiasts".

From the About Us page on their Facebook:

SGTrains is an independent site run by a group of transport enthusiasts, and we are not representatives of the various agencies, authorities or operators. You may wish to contact LTA directly with your suggestion, they may be able to do more than we can.

This page is NOT for reporting of train faults and suggestions.

This group has interacted, from time to time, with the minister over the years since 2011 when he took office, to provide feedback on Singapore's transport system just because they take public transport more regularly for fun and pay more attention to it than the average commuter.
