Ex-politician Nicole Seah, who is currently based in Bangkok, posted on Facebook of 10 high-risk areas in Bangkok to avoid after the blast on the evening of August 17 that claimed 22 lives – including one Singaporean woman.

Here are the 10 areas, compiled by Seah who got the info from local Thai news:

1. Ratchaprasong junction (area of blast, Centralworld, Siam)

2. Pathumwan junction (MBK)

3. Silom road (Sala Daeng)

4. Khao San

5. Narathiwat junction (Sathorn, CBD)

6. Victory Monument

7. Chai Building

8. Benjasiri park

9. Thonglor (Funky Villa, DEMO, Sukhumvit soi 55)

10. Tourist sections of Sukhumvit Road (Main areas of Asok, Nana, Phrom Pong, Thonglor)

It was earlier confirmed by The Straits Times that a Singaporean woman was killed in the bomb blast near the popular Erawan Shrine. The blast even caused a crater in the ground.

According to CNN, 22 were killed and more than 120 injured.
