Not again.

Fresh from the backlash (852 comments and counting) of his "extremely concerned" Facebook post yesterday (July 7), Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew thought he finally caught a break this morning.

He stationed himself at Ang Mo Kio MRT station at around 7am and scored an interview with the mainstream media.

Best of all, he finally got his photo op correct this time, after being completely missing from the action last time round at Bishan depot.

Here's a snapshot of the resulting coverage:

However, netizens were not pleased with his selection of MRT station, saying that Ang Mo Kio MRT station is not crowded enough and he should, instead, arrange his photo op at Jurong East MRT station, where the North-South and East-West Lines meet.

An eagle-eyed netizen also questioned the timing of his photo op.

Jurong East MRT station, though, is notorious for its insane crowds and numerous platforms. A photo op at Jurong East would therefore not be a photo op but a game of "Where's Minister Lui?".

Luckily, Prime Minister Lee posted this and kinda pulled the embattled Minister away from the tight spot.
