Sick of the discourse surrounding Pink Dot Sg? Why think when you can pink, right?
This year, we trawl Hong Lim park to document the highlight of every festival: how to stay a la mode in the sweltering heat.
Flamboyant, avant-garde, traditional, we've got all fashion styles covered for you. After all, festivals, be it Laneway, Coachella, or Pink Dot have always been more than just social causes.
1. Carl, 34 and Dave, 24
Carl: "I'm wearing baju kurung with pink songket. Well this get-up was assembled in a very 'spur of the moment' fashion and my friend just told me to wear it."
Dave: "I just wanna make sure everything I wear is colour-coordinated, even down to my underwear, which I will not show you."
2. The Babylicious triad - Madam Chaw, 82; Babylicious, 50; and Mrs. Luscious, 45.
A regular in the whole festival is none other than the Babylicious triad, who came here to "celebrate love".
Pointing at Madam Chaw, Babylicious shared that the 82 year-old woman is wearing old school from head to toe.
"Her shirt is from Petaling street night market, cups from Chow Kit market road. Umbrella? From Queenstown."
3. Diyanah, 20.
The liberal Yale NUS College also took part in the event, but flouted the cardinal rule of Pink Dot: this college representative wore her institution's shirt, in blue no less.
She paired her minimalist top with "a blogshop skort and Charles & Keith sandals."
4. Vincent, undisclosed age.
Vincent bared his enviable abs in a blue crop top, and displayed that magnificent bulge in hot pink short. We also learnt the trick to look like Finn from Adventure Time in 5 seconds: grab a bra and tie it round your head.
5. Ya Xin, 20; Madeleine, 19; Jia Qi, 19, Kai Sheng, 21.
Pink Dot Sg is not just a fashion parade or a hotbed for social causes. For some, it could just be a venue for "orientation group" outings.
Fresh from their faculty's freshman camp, the quartet did not dress up to the nines like their Pink Dot compatriot.
Rather Ya Xin opted for the 'high, round-collared polka-dotted t-shirt', which she bought at a pasar malam at Ang Mo Kio.
6. Kelly, 20.
"I usually wear sweatpants, but for today I'm wearing it in pink."
Hot.
7. Sean, 38.
Of all the ones we scouted, Sean is probably that one guy that emblematises the spirit of pink dot: he donned pink shorts, carried a rainbow plushie and sported bunny ears.
8. Pom Pom, Pee Pee, Dylan and Marley.
Animals also partook in championing the LGBTs' cause despite their inability to understand the human language.
Cute as they may be, Pom Pom and Pee Pee are veterans when it comes to attending Pink Dot, with this year's occasion marking their third appearance.
Dylan and Marley also made their debut appearance in Pink Dot this year, following a long list of pets advancing the rights of the LGBT community.
9. Alex, 20; Rex, 22, and Isaac, 18.
You could choose to wear neutral colours, but seriously, white? Did you mistake Hong Lim Park for the Faith Community Baptist Church?
However, Rex defended his choice of clothes, opting comfort over making a statement.
"I wore a pink top, but it got really very warm."
So white t-shirt it is.
