Is this crop of Singapore swimmers the greatest of all time?
After six days of competitions, here is the final medals tally for swimming:
23 Golds, 12 Silvers, and 7 Bronzes, 42 Medals.
How significant are their achievements?
1. Our medal haul was more than the 2nd and 3rd placed nations (Vietnam, Malaysia) combined.
2. Our medal haul was more than two times of the class of 2013 (11 golds).
3. Finally, they have surpassed the record 21 gold haul achieved at the 1973 Southeast-Asian Peninsular Games.
