The Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, has basically come out to say that Singapore and Malaysia football sucks.

His comments came right after LionsXII's historic Malaysian FA Cup 3-1 victory over cup favourites Kelantan on May 23, 2015, which earned the Singapore side the distinction of becoming the first foreign team to lift the trophy (i.e. Singapore's team is the best team in Malaysia).

In a post on the Johor Southern Tigers' Facebook page titled "BIG SLAP ON FAM'S FACE", the outspoken royalty congratulated the Singapore team and paid them a backhanded compliment.

Not only did he insinuate that the Singapore side won despite the referee being biased against them, he also made an analogy by comparing the LionsXII to some generic Scotland under-23 minnow side having beaten a Kelantan side that is considered to be Manchester United.

Hey, thanks man, you shouldn't have.

The outspoken prince made his comments in a post in Malay, which was also translated to English.

However, the royalty's comments sound loopy as both LionsXII and Kelantan are currently languishing in the bottom half of the 12-team Malaysian Super League 2015 after the first 10 games.

LionsXII is at eighth position while Kelantan is at 10th spot.

Conglatulation Lions XII. Not only for qualified to the FA Cup final, but the Singaporean side were also perceived as taking on the best team in Malaysia, Kelantan, who were the final Malaysian team in the tournament.
