Barcelona were up 3-1 against Celta Vigo in the Spanish La Liga match when they earned a penalty in the 80th minute after Lionel Messi was fouled at the edge of the box.
Messi then stepped up to take the penalty and lined up for the shot -- and he did something a little bit different.
Instead of tucking the ball into the net by himself, Messi tapped it for an onrushing Luis Suarez to score to complete his hat trick for the night.
Years ago, Arsenal's Robert Pirès and Thierry Henry did a negative demonstration of this sort of penalty trickery, resulting in one of the most bizarre moments for the Gunners:
