Finally, Madonna was judged by her performances as she entertained a 25,000-strong crowd at the National Stadium on Sunday night (Feb. 28).
While The Straits Times noted that some were disappointed with Madge's performance, DJ Rosalyn Lee and actress Pam Oei were obviously a little more than disappointed.
Oei started the ball rolling with a comment of the gig, saying that the 57-year-old "sold out" by not performing her controversial songs "Holy Water" and "Devil Pray" and thus, clearly didn't live up to her concert title.
She rounded her very honest review with this hashtag, #madonnasassisownedbyMDA. #ouch #burn
"This was the best part of the #Madonna concert tonight. Being with my friends Sean Tobz, Neo Swee Lin, Lim Kay Siu and Dal Vinder. Because Madonna had her ass owned by the MDA and the catholic church tonight. She did not perform Holy Water nor Devil Pray, (as expected). A large part of me was hoping that she would really be true to her concert title and be a rebel and fxxk care all the authorities and just perform the "controversial" songs. But she didn't. She gave in, she sold out, she censored herself and she asked the audience members "Do you speak English?" way too many times. I went to the concert because I had a bet with a friend - I said she wouldn't perform those 2 songs, he said he was a True Blue fan and he knew her inside out and she so would. I'm so sorry in this instance that I won the bet. The moment she dedicated a song to her kids, 2 of whom who were in the audience, I left. These 2 kids have seen ALL her concerts. They KNEW their mother sold out. I could not take her hypocrisy, so I left immediately.
One Violet Oon Kitchen lunch on the house for me! BURP"
Not one to mince her words, Lee – who's a fan – called her beloved Queen Madge lacking in "artistic integrity" and "a fake".
Her beef? Madonna shouldn't perform in Singapore if she knew that her show will be heavily censored.
"about the Madonna concert last night... while i had moments where i enjoyed myself, it was nothing more than a karaoke fest. so yeah.. im with you on this, pam. it was truly a subpar show. she kept saying shes at the top of her game but omg sorry but Beyonce is and im not even a fan. also.. she talked waaaay too much. a lot of surface "fucks" but no real rebellious message that i could get behind. her "rebel heart" was merely a slogan, not a stance. its sad. as someone who used to, as a tween, rent VHS tapes of her concert, starting from the Blonde Ambition Tour, so i can replay them in the comforts of my home until ive learned all her dance moves, i was sorely disappointed that when i finally got a chance to see Madonna, i kena-ed that crap last night. i loved Queen Madge for being a fearless middle finger on two toned legs, but turns out thats all surface. shes a fake. she bowed to censorship. i was most disappointed that she didnt have artistic intergrity. knowing that her show would have to be heavily censored if she did it in singapore, she should have declined the offer to perform. because it should be all or nothing! also: NO VOGUE??? no hope liao. silver lining: at least i bought the cheapest tickets, went with my close friends, and partied alongside a 25,000 strong crowd of inclusive, non-judgemental people."

Madge seemed to enjoy herself in the Singapore heat, even urging her fans to show her their armpits.
