Holland-Bukit Timah GRC's anchor Minister Vivian Balakrishnan has fired his first Facebook salvo proper for the campaign period at Singapore Democratic Party's (SDP) Sec-Gen Chee Soon Juan.
In a Facebook post, Minister Vivian sought to ask Dr Chee "some awkward questions" with regards to SDP's policy proposals in their manifesto.
This was after Minister Vivian's first criticism on Tuesday, when he called the SDP's policies "tax and spend" programmes that would bankrupt Singapore.
The main questions the Minister asked was how SDP plans spend tax dollars, and charged that Chee's 'cut and paste' policies "will lead Singapore to bankruptcy and put us at grave risk."
The Minister then proceeded to answer all the questions he asked Chee with his last line: "Dr Chee's ideas will lead Singapore on the path of much higher taxes, higher national debts for our children and put our national security at risk."
So maybe these questions were more rhetorical and inquisitive?
Anyway, here is the full post:

Perhaps this Facebook post was in response to Dr Chee's earlier Facebook posting published some seven hours earlier:
