This is proof of why the Singapore Commandos family is one of most tightly-knit unit in Singapore.
A total of 78 past and present SAF Commandos took out an obituary on The Straits Times on July 16, to honour three of their fallen comrades from their batch (2nd company, 1988-1990).
The lives of Ang Yee Khoon, Ng Eng Wah and Tan Pheng Huat were cut short 25 years ago.
They were men from the 2nd company. They were men of the red beret.
It's not known how the three commandos died, but according to an ex-commando, they fell from a helicopter during a rappelling exercise.
Rest in peace, commandos. And one for the big PJI in the sky.
For honour and glory!
