It was a near clean sweep for the Singapore swim team tonight with six golds out of seven events, and the swimmers breaking 5 SEA Games records in the process.
But what made it "really awesome" - Quah Ting Wen's words - was what occurred in the middle of the singing of the national anthem at the Swimming Women's 4x200m Freestyle Relay Victory Ceremony.

The over-worked "Majulah Singapura" anthem broke down, but the home crowd at the OCBC Aquatic Centre continued to sing with gusto.

As swimmer Amanda Lim noted, the crowd sang "damn hard".
But it is nothing compared to the hard work the Team Singapore swimmers put in over the past few years.
