Anyone who has been through National Service would know how mentally and physically draining doing sentry duty is.

It is infinitely tougher for the United Kingdom's Queen's Guard - the soldiers in charge of protecting official royal residences - because of the constant public scrutiny they are under.

In the video below, one tourist at Windsor Castle, egged on by his friends, decided to 'test the system'. The Queen's Guard soldier reacted in a way that would give future idiots something to think twice about before crossing the line:

A soldier from the Queen's Guard lost his patience with a tourist this week, pointing his gun and shouting at the young man who grabbed him outside of Windsor Castle. In a statement, the MoD said it supported the soldier and said members of the public should treat guardsmen with respect.(Source: YouTube.com/hngjms)

It is also heartening to note that, according to The Week UK, the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence 'said it supported the soldier and said members of the public should treat guardsmen with respect.'
