DPM Heng Swee Keat to make official visit to China from Apr. 7 to 12, 2024

Building on the high-level exchanges between Singapore and China.

Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat will be visiting China from Apr. 7 to Apr. 12, 2024, according to a press release by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Apr. 7.

Visiting senior China leaders in Beijing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong

Heng will be visiting the cities of Beijing, Shenzhen and Hong Kong, thereby building on the positive momentum of high-level exchanges between Singapore and China.

He will meet senior leaders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as well as local leaders in these cities.

In addition, Heng will engage other personalities from various sectors, as well as visit companies and research institutes.

The PMO added that his visit will be a good opportunity for both sides to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, as well as to exchange views on regional and international issues.

Heng will also be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Research Foundation, Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the PMO.
