Korean convenience store chain Emart24 may have shuttered all three of its outlets in Singapore, but it seems like it is not leaving for good.

In a statement from Emart24, the chain said that it is “here to stay” and is “working on something new”.

The statement went on:

“While we have noticed various social media articles on Emart24 Singapore that offer speculation of our future, we want to reiterate that we remain fully committed to make Singapore our home.

We have been making significant management decisions to reshuffle our outlets to better serve our customers with some new and exciting offerings and concepts.”

The convenience store chain also mentioned that it hopes to see its customers “really soon” and asked them to “keep a lookout” for when it’ll pop up.
