Two cars collided at the traffic junction between MacPherson Road and Aljunied Road in front of Macpherson Mall at about 3pm on Feb. 18.
The Singapore Police Force (SPF) and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that they received reports of the accident, reported Shin Min Daily News (Shin Min).
Five people were injured, including a one-year-old child.
A 29-year-old male driver and four passengers were sent to the hospital conscious.
The four passengers were aged between one and 27 years old.
Three of them were sent to KK Women's and Children's Hospital while the other two were sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
Following the collision, one of the cars reportedly lost control and knocked over an electrical box by the roadside.
A man surnamed Hu told Shin Min that his friend, who provided the photos of the scene of the accident, happened to pass by the area and witnessed the scene after the accident.
One of the photos showed a stationary blue car in the middle of the road.
The front of the car, including the front left tire, was damaged while some dislodged car parts were scattered on the road.
The condition of the other car and the other driver is unknown.
According to Shin Min, by 5pm, both cars had been towed away but the damaged parts were still seen on the road.
Several employees from electricity and gas distribution company SP Group were at the location to inspect the damaged electrical box.
Investigations are ongoing.
