FairPrice opened its first experiential store at Clarke Quay on Feb. 21.

"Deeply rooted in Clarke Quay’s rich history as a trading district where goods were stored, our latest store features a warehouse-inspired design that blends the past’s charm with a modern flair," the grocer said.

European-inspired dining halls

Clips on Instagram show a European food hall-inspired interior, with red brick floors and an open kitchen, giving it a sophisticated feel.

There are also areas for customers to sit down, chill and eat food, elevating the usual grocery run to an activity for family and friends, or even an unlikely date spot.

The outlet also features a large Grocer Food Hall at the centre, where you can dine in and choose from a multitude of food options.

Through the "You Pick, We Cook" service, you can select various cuts of meat or seafood and have the chefs on site cook it for you after purchase.

The new store offers a wide assortment of fresh local and international produce, as well as specialty cuts of meat and artisanal cheeses.

You can then enjoy your food immediately at the Grocer Food Hall.

The supermarket offers a variety of cuisines to be enjoyed at the food hall, such as local, Japanese, Middle Eastern and Italian.

Chill at the bar

The outlet also has a bar that you can visit and sip on heritage cocktails at for a fun date night activity.

Or when life gets in the way, you need a little liquid sustenance.

The alcohol menu features craft beers and various local-inspired cocktails.

There are also several mocktail options for those who don't drink, but want to join in on the fun.
