The woman who allegedly verbally abused Singapore General Hospital (SGH) staff will face additional manpower charges.

29-year-old Han Feizi was charged in court on Oct. 13, 2023, with a total of six charges, including using abusive language against a public service worker or public servant, harassment, assault and public nuisance.

She was supposed to plead guilty on Oct. 25, 2023, but her case was scheduled to return to court a day earlier on Oct. 24.

To face more manpower charges

According to Lianhe Zaobao, she will be further charged with two offences under the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act — one count of illegally being a self‑employed foreigner without a valid work pass and one count of making a false statement to the Controller of Work Passes or an authorised Ministry of Manpower officer.

Han was charged in court after videos showing her arguing with a female police officer in plain clothes at SGH went viral online.
