Thailand’s Burger King launches 20-slice cheese 'Real Cheese Burger' as Thais love cheese

If you're in Thailand, here's one thing to check out.

The country's Burger King just launched its new “Real Cheese Burger”.

The burger, featuring 20 slices of cheese and no other toppings or patties, was announced by the fast food chain on Jun. 9.

Originally priced at 380 baht (S$14.64), the burger now costs 109 baht (S$4.20) and is available for delivery countrywide in Thailand.

Patrons can also choose to add even more cheese slices, at 20 baht ($0.77) per two slices, said Burger King Thailand in the comment section.

The burger is only be available from Jul. 10 to Aug. 20, 2023.

Those interested can order via Thailand's Burger King app, Grabfood or Lineman, as linked in their later Facebook post.

Positively received

As of time of writing, the post had garnered more than 3,400 likes and 2,200 shares.

The "Real Cheese Burger" was largely well-received, with many consumers saying that they wanted to try and some posting their reviews after trying.

Some said it really contained a lot of cheese, while others remained in disbelief.
