A motorcyclist was conveyed to hospital after getting run over by a truck.
The incident took place on Saturday (Jul. 15) at the junction of Jalan Buroh and Jurong Port Road.
According to footage circulating on social media, the motorcyclist arrived behind a lorry at a red light.
The motorcyclist then moved in front of the lorry, right in its blind spot while waiting for the traffic light to turn green.
When the time came for the vehicles to turn right, the lorry moved forward into the motorcyclist.
Its front right wheel ran over the motorcyclist.
The lorry then came to a stop as the lorry driver opened the door.
The motorcyclist was left on the ground, rolling while clutching his chest.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) told Mothership that they were alerted to the accident at 7:30am. The motorcyclist was conveyed to the National University Hospital.
