Do you miss holidaying in Hong Kong?

Cathay Pacific is giving away 12,500 free round-trip tickets from Singapore to Hong Kong.

This is part of Hong Kong International Airport's World of Winners Ticket Offers, which is distributing 500,000 flight tickets to worldwide travellers starting from March 2023.

How to get a free ticket?

Participants have to be 18 years old and above, a Singapore resident and a Cathay member.

Only then can they join the campaign from Mar. 2 to 8, answer a few simple questions correctly, and be in the running to win one economy class round-trip ticket to Hong Kong.

Note that the form will be pre-filled using the name registered in your Cathay member profile and will not be editable.

So, make sure that your profile name matches the name on your passport before registering.

How do I get the ticket if I win?

The winners' full name, the first two characters and last character of the local part of your email address and the last four digits of your Cathay membership number, (i.e. Chan Tai Man, ch****n@domain.com, 1111), will be announced on the campaign website on Mar. 20.

They will also be notified via the email provided at registration on the same day.

Once the redemption period begins, they will receive a unique ticket redemption code via their email, which must be redeemed within a month of the email and valid for only nine months.

Each ticket redemption code is for the Cathay member who registered and is non-transferable.

The redemption code is also not refundable or redeemable for cash or any other item.

Hong Kong's situation now

On Dec, 13, it was announced that Hong Kong scrapped its Covid-19 app and the ban on arrivals visiting bars and restaurants within three days of arrival.

Arrivals in Hong Kong from Dec. 14, will no longer receive an “amber” code barring them from some venues, Chief Executive John Lee said at a press conference.

“The infection risk from imported cases is lower than the risk from local infections,” Lee said.

The news of a further loosening of Covid-19 curbs in the global financial hub is set to boost the resumption of travel and business.
