DBS CEO Tan Su Shan ranked 6th in Fortune's Most Powerful Women in Business 2026 list
She is the highest-ranked Singaporean on the list.

DBS Group chief executive Tan Su Shan has been named the sixth most powerful woman in business globally, according to Fortune's 2026 Most Powerful Women in Business list released on May 27.
The annual ranking recognises 100 of the world's most influential women across industries including finance, technology, healthcare, telecommunications, retail and energy.
Tan is the highest-ranked Singaporean on the list and the only one to break into the top 10.
The other Singaporean featured is Png Chin Yee, Chief Financial Officer of Temasek International, who comes in at No. 77.
According to Fortune, the 2026 list spans leaders from 94 companies across 20 countries and territories, collectively overseeing 11.8 million employees and US$7.3 trillion (S$9.33 trillion) in annual revenue.
They hold a combined 180 board seats, and comprise 50 women at Fortune Global 500 companies, 39 at Fortune 500 companies, 18 at Fortune 500 Europe companies, five at Fortune 500 China companies and two at Fortune Southeast Asia 500 companies.
The United States (U.S.) leads in representation, followed by mainland China with nine executives, Yahoo News reported.
France and the UK each have six representatives, while Brazil, Germany and the United Arab Emirates have three each.
Singapore, alongside Australia, Hong Kong, South Africa, South Korea and Spain, have two representatives each.

- Tan Su Shan, CEO and Director, DBS Group (Singapore)
- Thasunda Brown Duckett, President and CEO, TIAA (U.S.)
- Grace Wang, Chairwoman and CEO, Luxshare Precision Industry (China)
- Reshma Kewalramani, President and CEO, Vertex Pharmaceuticals (U.S.)
- Abigail P. Johnson, Chairman and CEO, Fidelity Investments (U.S.)
