Different kind of CNY drip

Meteorological Service Singapore (MSS) said in a Feb. 16 media advisory that the prevailing northeast monsoon conditions are expected to continue in the second fortnight of February 2026.

This will see winds blowing mainly from the northwest or northeast.

Moderate to heavy thundery showers are forecast over most parts of the island in the afternoon and evening during the first few days of the last two weeks of February.

Following this period, conditions are expected to turn relatively drier, though brief localised thundery showers may still occur on several afternoons, MSS said.

The daily maximum temperatures are likely to range between 32°C and 33°C on most days, with a high of around 34°C on a few days.
