PUB has issued flash flood warnings for some parts of Katong due to heavy rain on Feb. 17.
The warning was issued on X (formerly Twitter) at around 10:44am.

Due to heavy rain, please avoid this location for the next 1 hour: Mountbatten Rd leading to Jln Seaview [10:44 hours]

The public is advised to avoid Mountbatten Road leading to Jalan Seaview.
The second half of February 2026 will see more rain before conditions turn dry towards the end of the month.
According to the Meteorological Service Singapore, moderate to heavy thundery showers are expected over most parts of Singapore in the afternoon and evening.
