A man was caught on camera destroying numerous self-check-in kiosks at Hong Kong International Airport on Feb. 16.

In a video posted on Facebook, the man is seen pushing over the kiosks in the airport departure hall.

He then grabbed a metal pole and began smashing the fallen kiosks.

According to the Hong Kong Free Press, the incident occurred at around 6am, and the man damaged around 10 self-check-in kiosks, some railings, and nearby counters at the airport's Terminal 1.

The spokesperson told the media that staff and security personnel rushed to the scene and "warned the man to stop causing further damage".

The man, a 35-year-old British tourist, was subsequently arrested for criminal damage.

He was also arrested under suspicion of possession of "Part 1" poison, after four Viagra pills were found in his backpack, Hong Kong Free Press reported.

Possessing Viagra without a prescription is illegal in Hong Kong, and those found guilty could face up to two years' imprisonment and HK$100,000 (S$16142) fine.
