Car seen on kerb in Bukit Batok: Driver, 58, dies after being conveyed to hospital

A 58-year-old man died following an accident at Block 375 Bukit Batok Street 31 on the morning of Feb. 16.

The police confirmed with Mothership that they were alerted to an accident involving a car that was believed to have self-skidded at the block at about 5:50am.

According to SCDF, they conveyed the man to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital.

The driver was conveyed unconscious to the hospital, where he subsequently passed away.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Aftermath

Photos of the aftermath showed that the car had mounted the kerb along a sheltered linkway, with the front half of the vehicle resting on the pavement.

A police car and motorcycle were present at the scene.
