2 people sustain minor injuries after taxi overturns in AMK
They declined to be taken to the hospital.
Two people sustained minor injuries after a taxi overturned in Ang Mo Kio on Feb. 17.
In response to Mothership's queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that the incident occurred the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 and Bishan Road at around 7:50am.
Taxi overturned in the middle of the road
A photo of the incident published by Lianhe Zaobao showed a stationary ambulance behind the blue taxi.
Two traffic police officers could be seen speaking to a man standing on the kerb.
SCDF said officers two persons were assessed for minor injuries, but they declined to be taken to the hospital.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) advised road users to avoid lanes 1, 2 and 3 along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 towards Upper Thomson in a traffic update on X at 8:13am.
