Footage of a Chinese influencer's natural face went viral after it was exposed during a livestream.
From the clips circulating on social media, the unnamed beauty influencer's filter malfunctioned, revealing a face unfamiliar to her audience.
Yahoo reported that the clip likely originated from Douyin.

Allegedly lost 140,000 followers
The New York Post cited social media reports claiming that she lost 140,000 followers after the incident. However, the number has not been independently verified, and neither has the identity of the influencer been confirmed.
While some commenters flooded in with accusations of deception, many online viewers came to her defense, claiming that they preferred the unfiltered version.
"I think she’s so much more prettier than the filter," one commenter said. "The filter looks lifeless."
A similar incident occurred in 2019, where a popular Chinese streamer known as "Your Highness Qiao Biluo", sparked outrage among her fans after unmasking herself as a middle-aged woman.
She was originally known for being a young and cute "goddess" with over 100,000 followers on Chinese streaming platform Douyu.
