Fruce closes last S'pore outlet at Orchard's Wisma Atria after 9 years

Fruce, a Singaporean beverage chain, has closed its last outlet at the basement of Orchard's Wisma Atria shopping mall.

A spokesperson for Wisma Atria responded to queries from The Straits Times (ST) and said that Fruce ended operations on Jan. 19 and its listing has been removed from the mall's online store directory.

This comes weeks after the closure was first announced, and videos of its impending closure circulated on social media.

Fruce was known for its fruit-based drinks and opened its original store at Wisma Atria in December 2016.

A different beverage store, Miki Mizu, will be occupying the space which housed Fruce, and is slated to open at the end of February or early March, reported ST.

'Past few years have been a challenge'

Fruce first took to its Instagram Stories on Jan. 10 to announce its last day of operations was Jan. 14.

The beverage brand said, "the past few years have been a challenge, but we choose to focus on the gratitude".

However, on Jan. 13, they stated that the closure was "officially on hold" and that "we aren't ready to leave yet".

"We will continue to serve our Wisma Atria community until further notice."

As of Feb. 21, Fruce's Instagram bio still lists its location as Wisma Atria, and its last post was dated Nov. 25, 2025.

The brand expanded from its founding store at Wisma Atria, and at its peak, it had six stores in Nex, Our Tampines Hub, Lau Pa Sat, Hillion Mall, Sun Plaza and Yew Tee Point.

All outlets have since closed, leaving fans devastated, including a TikTok user, @melbelchashaopau whose Valentine's Day post went viral with over 169,600 views and 8,500 likes at the time of writing.

She captioned the Feb. 14 post, "today, I don't celebrate love. I grieve a drink that made ordinary days feel survivable."
